INTERSTATE INSURANCE PRODUCT REGULATION COMMISSION

Sarah is the Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs for the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission (“Insurance Compact”). In this role, she develops and oversees strategies to strengthen member engagement and collaboration, supports relationships with state regulators and stakeholders, and oversees the delivery of committee support, membership services, and digital communications. Sarah also serves as a liaison on regulatory initiatives affecting the Compact and works closely with member states, regulators, and stakeholders to advance the Compact's mission and strategic goals.

Prior to joining the Insurance Compact on June 1, 2021, Sarah spent nearly five years with the Rhode Island Insurance Division. There, she reviewed policy form and rate filings for regulatory compliance with Rhode Island insurance law, focusing on life insurance, annuities, credit, long-term care, and legal services product lines. She also served as a public information officer and contributed to consumer services, complaint resolution, market conduct matters, and website maintenance.

In addition, Sarah represented Rhode Island in several National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”) working groups and Insurance Compact committees, including the Product Standards Committee, where she served as Vice Chair from 2020 to 2021.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Providence College and a Master of Public Administration from Roger Williams University. She began her career as a customer service representative and has held various roles in the insurance industry, including claims handling, transaction processing, compliance, and life and annuity product filings.
