The State Status field under the General Information section of SERFF is used by the Compact Team to indicate where the filing is in the review process.  A best practice is to check this field before submitting a status request on the filing.

The following statuses and their corresponding definitions follow:

Ready for Primary Review – Indicates that intake has been completed.
Ready for Expedited Primary Review – Means intake has been completed and form review is pending in accordance with expedited review service levels.
Pending Expedited Actuarial Review - Indicates that form review is complete and is pending actuarial review according to expedited review service levels.
Pending Actuarial Review – Indicates that form review is complete and actuarial review is pending.
Actuarial Review Completed – Indicates actuarial review has been completed.
Pending Review – Indicates the filing is currently undergoing either form or actuarial review.
Pending Industry Response – Means the filing is awaiting a response from the industry filer.
Awaiting Secondary Review – Indicates that both the form and actuarial review are completed.
Secondary Review Completed – Means the filing is ready for a disposition to be entered.
Agreed Written Extension – Indicates that an agreed written extension has been granted.
