This week's tip focuses on current events, as the Compact Office team has been out and about seeing friendly faces.

Last week, we offered insider tips and tricks at the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals Annual Conference. We always look forward to this event because it brings us face-to-face with many familiar filers. It is also a great opportunity to update Compact state regulators and filers on key information and events.

This week on Wednesday, we held a Compact Roundtable in Omaha, Nebraska. For the fifth consecutive year in Omaha, a robust group of Compact state legislators, Commissioners, consumer advocates, state regulators, filing companies, consultants and others provided feedback and ideas on several ongoing projects. Thank you to the more than 70 attendees for making this Roundtable a tremendous success!

Next week, the entire Compact Office will convene in person to strategize on operational needs and blend four new employees into our team of 20. Please be aware that responses and review times will be affected Monday, October 26th through Wednesday, October 28th.

Lastly, the Compact will provide an update during the Life and Health Compliance Association's virtual meeting on Thursday, October 29th. This is another great opportunity for outreach to Compact filing community.
