ERP Update & End of Year Reminders

As we head into 2021, the Compact Review Team wanted to take a few minutes to provide you with an update on the status of the Expedited Review program and a few end of year reminders.

Earlier this month, the Commission adopted the recommendation to make the Expedited Review program a permanent filing option. The Commission introduced this filing option as a way for life and annuity filings to move through the filing process in a more efficient and expeditious manner. More details pertaining to this program can be found on the Insurer Resources page of the Compact website. If you are curious as to whether or not your filing would be eligible for ERP, please email expedited@insurancecompact.org.

Remember forms filed must include the current year in the form number for the year in which the form is filed in. As you prepare your filing submissions this week, please keep this in mind ? especially later this week.

Lastly, if you have not yet registered for 2021, you will want to take a few minutes to do so. When you register in December, you ensure your uninterrupted access to the Compact?s filing platform in SERFF as well as all the Weekly Tips.
