We wish you and your families a Happy Holidays season. Please note the Insurance Compact Office will be closed on Thursday, December 23rd, Friday, December 24th, and Friday, December 31st. 

As we wrap up the end of the year, we wanted to provide a few tips to help prepare for a smooth transition into the new year.

To avoid disruption in the SERFF filing platform, we encourage you to submit your 2022 Annual Registration Filing before the end of 2021. Directions on how to complete the Annual Registration can be found on the Insurer Resources page, Annual Registration Fee Filing Instructions.
As you prepare your filings, remember that form numbers must reflect the year in which they were submitted for review, regardless of when forms are approved. Therefore, forms that are being submitted for review in December should continue to use an ICC21 prefix; this does not change if review carries over into 2022. Filings that are submitted in January should use an ICC22 prefix.
