Because the expedited review queue is expanding to accept application-only filings for long-term care insurance and individual disability income submissions, SERFF now includes a new Filing Type called “Application” for these filings. Using this Filing Type will help identify eligible expedited review filings and ensure the appropriate submission requirements are generated.  

As a reminder, these types of filings will be eligible for expedited review starting November 1, 2025. Please follow the same instructions to request expedited review of these filings that is used for all other expedited review requests. More information on the expedited review program and instructions can be accessed from the Industry Resources tab / Expedited Review Process of the Compact website.
