Tools for a Cleaner Filing

As you prepare for the end of the year product filing submission rush, the Insurance Compact Office wanted to take a few minutes to remind you about some best practice tools available. These tools were developed as a way to make your filing experience more efficient. The Review Team strongly encourages all filers to review these tools ? especially in these busy days heading into the end of the year.

  1. Uniform Standards and Checklists - Found on the Record, the checklists are the exact  Uniform Standards in checklist format. Reviewing your filing submission alongside these checklists will help to ensure all requirements are included in the forms submitted for review. If there are any questions, please reach out to the Insurance Compact Office via email by submit?ting a Pre-Filing Communication form for an efficient conversation.
  2. Best Practices Checklist - This checklist was developed to help filers make sure that all requirements for submission were met. Using this tool will help filers avoid the basic objections during Intake ? meaning your filing is assigned to a Reviewer sooner.
  3. Weekly Tip Archive - Every Weekly Tip issued by the Insurance Compact Office is cataloged in the archive. These are Tips devised by the Review Team to help address and remind filers of often over-looked items or even filing processes. Unsure about something, chances are a Tip was issued on that item.
