Two New IDI Standards Adopted
On July 10th, two new Uniform Standards for individual disability income insurance products will be available for filing. Individual Disability Income Key Person Replacement Insurance Policy Standards and Individual Disability Income Buy-Sell Policy Insurance Policy Standards were published to the Compact Record on April 11th following adoption on March 24th.
Please note that Wyoming has initiated the process to opt out of these two Uniform Standards, consistent with Wyoming's opt out of the other individual and group disability income insurance Uniform Standards.
Mix and match is not available with these new Uniform Standards, other than for a disability income product filed with the Compact to be issued with state product components for an individual life or annuity product.
